Summary
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable candidate to oversee GMP manufacturing and release of therapeutic CAR T-cell products in ongoing Phase I clinical trials. The candidate will supervise a small team of technologists to perform required release assays and direct correlative follow-up studies using cutting-edge high-dimensional methods of analysis. The candidate will oversee development and implementation of new manufacturing and testing approaches to maximize clinical activity of CAR T-cells in cancer patients.

Job Duties
- Directs a small team of 1-2 technologists to carry out CAR-T cell immunophenotyping and cytotoxicity assays for clinical release.
- Interfaces with GMP and clinical teams to obtain and analyze follow-up samples obtained from patients after CAR T-cell infusion.
- Analyzes and interprets data from multi-dimensional flow cytometry analyses of CAR T-cell samples pre- and post-infusion.
- Facilitates development of new methods of manufacturing and release testing and assist with preparing validation plans and post-validation reports.
- Integrates correlative data obtained from GLP and flow cytometry core and assist with preparing scientific reports and presentations.
- Assists with lab managing duties and maintains critical supplies for clinical assays.
- Helps cure patients with incurable cancers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Basic Science or a related field. Experience in lieu of degree will not be accepted.
- Three years of relevant experience typically as a Research Assistant, Research Technician or Postdoctoral Fellow/Associate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong expertise in cell biology, cell culture and flow cytometry.
- Expertise in immunology is a plus.
- High attention to details and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills highly desirable.
