Summary

The Postdoc Associate will use a multi-disciplinary approach, including mouse models, epigenomics, neuroscience, metabolomics, and bioinformatics to understand environment-gene interactions and circadian rhythm in metabolic diseases, cancer, autism, and Alzheimer's disease. The postdoc fellow will develop independent projects.

Job Duties

  • Prepares samples and perform validation studies for omics analysis using genetic modified mouse models.
  • Performs functional analysis to identify metabolic reprogramming in diabetes, fatty liver, and heart failure.
  • Performs molecular biology experiments such as ChIP-seq, Hi-C, or snATAC-seq to characterize epigenomic remodeling.
  • Writes manuscript to report the findings.
  • Documents experiments to ensure that work can be replicated by others.


Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD.
  • Experience in metabolism, cancer biology, epigenetics, and bioinformatics.
