Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Immunology/Virology, Biology Department, Fordham University

Applications are invited for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Biological Sciences, Fordham University at the Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, NY, beginning Fall 2022. The successful applicant will have research experience in cell-molecular immunology/virology with preference given to candidates whose research interests focus on coronaviruses and inflammatory processes. The recruit will have substantial research skills and an excellent publication record. Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring is required. The recruit will be expected to cover the area of immunology/virology in research and teaching. They will be expected to establish a vibrant research program supported by external grants that offers opportunities for mentored research by undergraduate and graduate students. The successful applicant will join a well-equipped department and highly collaborative research community.
