Our laboratory focuses on (1) tumor microenvironment and developing novel immuno- and biotherapies for multiple myeloma (Yang et al, Cancer Cell 2006 and 2007, Bi et al, J Clin Invest 2018; Wang et al, Blood 2020 and 2021, Liu et al, Nat Commun 2021), (2) investigating the role and function of IL-9-secreting Th9 and Tc9 cells in tumor immunotherapy (Lu et al, J Clin Invest 2012; Lu et al, PNAS 2014, Lu et al, Cancer Cell 2018, Xue et al, Cancer Cell 2021), and (3) determining the roles of lipid metabolism on tumor-specific T cell dysfunction (Ma et al, J Exp Med 2018, Ma et al, Cell Metab 2019 and 2021). The ideal candidate is responsible, hard-working and has the ability to work independently.  For detailed information about our research, please visit: https://www.houstonmethodist.org/faculty/qing-yi/).
