The Cardiovascular Molecular Imaging Laboratory at Yale School of Medicine (http://medicine.yale.edu/lab/sadeghi) is seeking a new member (postdoctoral associate or associate research scientist) with expertise in imaging to develop novel imaging techniques for cardiovascular inflammation, remodeling and fibrosis, and participate in first in human studies of matrix metalloproteinase-targeted tracers. In parallel, you will work closely with other members of the laboratory who study innovative aspects of aortic aneurysm and calcific aortic valve disease pathobiology. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge and get involved in multidisciplinary translational research.
The qualified candidate has a PhD in biological sciences or bioengineering, with a background in imaging and a track record of high-quality publications. Experience in nuclear imaging and microsurgery is preferred.
