Postdoctoral Fellowship
A postdoctoral position will be available on a long standing (23 years) NIH/NHLBI Training Grant (T32) in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Levy as of January 2022. The program offers research training in cardiovascular research with a special emphasis on heart valve disease, and related mechanisms affecting biomaterials used in prosthetic heart valves, the associated immune response, serotonin receptor mechanisms and platelet interactions. PhD; MD; MD-PhD Candidates with both an interest and experience in basic cardiovascular research should apply. Applicants with specific expertise in such fields as cell and molecular biology, biomaterials, bioengineering, immunology, pharmaceutics, and pharmacology are strongly encouraged to apply.
