If so, this Scientific Investigator role may be right for you! In this laboratory-based position, you will support therapeutic research with a focus on identifying, validating and prosecuting new targets for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders. The selected individual will also be expected to communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders, to mentor junior scientists and to engage with the wider scientific community. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Ph.D. degree in Immunology plus three-or-more years of post-doctoral research experience, or a Master's degree in Immunology with over five years of research experience in industry. 1 year experience with scientific innovation as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations or patents. 1 year experience designing, prosecuting and interpret experimental studies independently. 1 year experience in immune cell biology, including practical experience in the isolation, culture and manipulation of different immune cell types. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Expertise in assay development and validation. Experience with in vivo models of autoimmune / inflammatory disease, primary cell culture and multi-color flow cytometry. Strong understanding of small- and/or large-molecule drug discovery. Previous experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Flexibility, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet timelines while maintaining attention to detail and high-performance standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to multi-disciplinary teams, project leaders and management. Excellent record keeping and organizational skills.
