Institute of Biomolecular Design & Discovery and Department of Immunobiology
The Institute of Biomolecular Design & Discovery (IBDD), in partnership with the Department of Immunobiology, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR rank to commence as early as July 1, 2022. The IBDD is a chemical biology-focused research institute, one of seven multidisciplinary research institutes at Yale University’s West Campus. Institute faculty hold a primary appointment in a life science, physical science, or engineering department.
Qualifications
At this time, we seek to identify candidates whose research interests and accomplishments align with the Institute and the Department of Immunobiology. The primary appointment will be in the Department of Immunobiology with lab space located within the Institute. We seek creative teacher-scholars to develop outstanding research programs in metabolism and/or (bio)chemical approaches to study or modulate the immune system or inflammatory processes. They must possess a Ph.D. or M.D. equivalent in a relevant discipline and be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students.
