Tenure-track Position in Bioengineering Department The P.C. Rossin College of Engineering & Applied Science at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Biomedical Devices in the Department of Bioengineering. Applications from qualified individuals for all faculty ranks will be considered including consideration of tenure at initial appointment for senior candidates. Applicants should demonstrate a track record of innovation in device design and fabrication. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: wearables, flexible electronics, diagnostic and therapeutic devices, point-of-care devices, neural engineering, lab-on-chip, organ-on-chip, prosthetics, and remote sensors. Applicants' research should ideally support the development of devices that can be integrated into precision or population health paradigms. This will provide opportunities for collaboration with the newly established College of Health as well as the interdisciplinary Institute for Functional Materials and Devices (I-FMD) at Lehigh University. Applicants are required to have a doctorate in Bioengineering or a related field, and the ability and interest to teach core Bioengineering courses (https://engineering.lehigh.edu/bioe). We have established a sizable new research facility, the Health Research Hub, and seek to expand faculty strength further, particularly in the area of Biomedical Devices.
