Site Name: USA - Massachusetts - Cambridge Posted Date: Jun 28 2021 GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is committed to developing medicines for global health challenges including respiratory, immuno-inflammation, oncology and infectious diseases. We know that finding cures means not just finding new drugs but finding new ways to discover drugs. The Genomic Immunology group sits within the Immunology Research Unit and has a presence at our growing Cambridge, MA (US) site and at our R&D hub in Stevenage (UK). Our group strives to explore rich data landscape (23andMe, UK Biobank, FinnGen) to derive and identify crucial therapeutic target insights associated with diseases with unmet need across therapeutic areas, to build drug hypotheses, and to validate potential new therapeutic targets by integrating our groundbreaking functional genomics experimental platform. This approach maximizes the probability of delivering successful clinical candidates, and ultimately helping people to do more, feel better and live longer.
