Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Associate

A postdoctoral fellow/research associate position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Shadab A. Siddiqi in the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, to study the intracellular lipoprotein trafficking in primary hepatocytes.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or a related discipline. The candidates must have excellent cellular, molecular and biochemical skills. A good understanding of cloning, siRNA, transfection, protein purification & characterization techniques and experience with the use of small animals (rats/mice) is desired.
