These responsibilities include some of the following: Developing, qualifying and validating biological assays in support of drug development with supervision. Preparing draft assay methods and development/qualification reports. Providing assay support to R&D groups. Participating in assay transfer to manufacturing and/or contract laboratories. Training others and helping to troubleshoot assay problems as they occur. Maintaining awareness of the current literature relevant to methods of biochemical analysis. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: BS in Chemistry, Biology, or a Science related field 2+ Years' experience in running and analyzing bioassays in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology or academic environment. Experience performing biochemistry/biology techniques such as ELISA, Western blot, SPR, or RT-qPCR. Prior experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Experience using laboratory automation. Knowledge of statistical analysis of experimental results. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Strong organizational skills Excellent communication skills and ability to influence. Strong technical writing skills for documentation. Demonstration of a high level of scientific rigor and integrity.
