SUMMARY

The overall purpose of this position is to provide support in data acquisition and coordination, data transfer, and data curation activities for the Image Guided Cancer Therapy Research Program (IGCTRP) and its many impactful projects. The position will also run pre-developed algorithms with curated data and will contribute to innovative research. This position will serve as a bridge between the clinical and research areas of the IGCTRP and will contribute directly to the clinical translation of research advances.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Clinical Duties Procures, curates, and transfers imaging, clinical treatment, and outcomes data and records from multiple sources and modalities for IGCTRP research projects. Performs searches and image curation from radiation oncology treatment planning system (RayStation), patient record and verify system (Mosaiq), and electronic medical record (EPIC). Assists in the clinical translation of research advances. Interact with clinical staff in multiple departments.

Research Duties Procures, curates, and transfers imaging, treatment, and outcomes data and records from multiple sources and modalities for IGCTRP research projects. Assists in data analysis and employs pre-developed algorithms for innovative research. Serves as a bridge to help integrate and translate research advances into the clinical setting. Promotes dissemination of research via contributing to authorship on manuscripts, abstracts, and reports.

Administrative Duties Contributes to written scientific reports, abstracts, and manuscripts. Maintains comprehensive and clear records of data requests, curation and transfer activities, and data generated.

Required Degree: Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physical Science.

Preferred: Master's Level
