Such activities will ensure that GSK's science and data are communicated in a coordinated manner through the most relevant channels for each respective customer and based on customer insight and other data sources resulting in measurable impact. These responsibilities include some of the following: • Develop the scientific engagement plan and associated activities aligned to the overall asset strategy and scientific objectives as part of the medical planning process • Develop and deliver engagement plans via multiple channels that complement field medical activities and priorities in order to enhance stakeholder education and ultimately patient outcomes. • Develop congress plans, overall strategies, and activities inclusive of on-site and virtual Medical Exhibits, symposia, and engagement plans. • Develop and deliver medical materials aligned to the asset's strategies for use at medical congresses, on the US Medical Affairs provider website, appropriate third party educational sites, advisory boards, and other engagement activities per the medical plan. • Ensure all activities and materials meet GSK requirements per GSK written standards, code of practice, and US regulations. • Support the daprodustat team in communicating clinical/scientific data and gaining feedback via the most optimal external platform (ie. Scientific workshop, educational programming, congress symposia, etc) • Consistently apply metrics and leverage data, analytics and insights in order to inform and measure the impact of activities and increase visibility of high value engagement approaches. • Lead, evaluate, and deliver scientific communications via innovative digital technologies and channels • Provide US market input into the development of and support local execution of global scientific engagement activities and communications to ensure they are fit-for-purpose for the US customer and aligned to US regulations. • Supervise timely execution for all scientific engagement activities Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelors degree in Science, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field Three or more years experience in medical affairs within a pharmaceutical or agency setting. Two or more years of experience developing and executing digital communications. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Relevant postgraduate degree PhD, MBA or PharmD Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture, but also manage the details of tactical execution Experience executing activities within professional congresses and/or other medical education meetings Ability to interpret, analyze, and organize scientific data Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate to diverse audiences. Nephrology experience. . Experience leading and working within cross-functional teams Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Demonstrated success in prioritization of multiple projects based on resources and opportunities. Strong business acumen and deep understanding of the healthcare environment and varied customer segments aligned to the Specialty business Why GSK?
