This position is an institutionally funded faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor level providing 100% salary support. The candidate will be expected to maintain an internationally recognized, extramurally funded program of research in the area of cancer pharmaco-omics and/or therapeutic targeting of cancer stem cells.  Individuals investigating determinants of cancer drug sensitivity/resistance by integrating multiple omic approaches (e.g., genomics + proteomics or metabolomics) or studying novel strategies for targeting cancer stem-like cells are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join the Department of Molecular Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics, a basic science department with strong ties to the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center and the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine.
