Post Doctoral Associate - 2 Positions Available
Two postdoctoral positions are available in the Lab of Immunology (www.zhulab.weebly.com), University of Maryland-College Park. We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral scientists to lead NIH- and USDA-funded studies elucidating the immune mechanisms underlying protective immune responses or inflammation, and apply those immune mechanisms to the development of novel mucosal vaccines and therapeutic strategies.
Applicants who have a background in PhD or PhD/DVM, PhD/MD degree in immunology, virology, microbiology, biomedical sciences are encouraged to apply. Ideal postdoctoral candidates are expected to have have strong publications, communication skills, the documented skills in analyses of immune responses, viral replication, and animal experiences. Outstanding postdoc scientists will have opportunity to apply for federal or foundation research grants and promote to Assistant Research Professor in the lab and department.
