CARDIOVASCULAR RESEARCH FACULTY POSITIONS (TENURE TRACK) AT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH
The Department of Internal Medicine / Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Nora Eccles Harrison Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute (CVRTI) seek talented faculty members at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We seek individuals with basic and early translational programs directly related to cardiovascular biology and disease. The CVRTI is a freestanding institute housing the country’s largest interdisciplinary grouping of cardiac myocyte biology, electrophysiology, and metabolism investigators. All cardiovascular programs will be considered with priority placed on program strength and future potential. Laboratories will be located in the CVRTI and, if applicable, clinical responsibilities at the nearby University of Utah Medical Center, both situated on the University of Utah’s Health Sciences Campus. Primary academic appointments will be in the Department of Medicine. Membership in graduate programs, ongoing salary support and generous start-up and foundation funding will be provided. A Ph.D., M.D., or M.D., Ph.D., at least 4-5 years research background, and a robust independent research program are required. Please visit https://cvrti.utah.edu to learn more about CVRTI.
