The Institute of Electrical and Micro Engineering is soliciting applications for a faculty position at the level of a tenure track Assistant Professor in Energy Storage Systems.
We seek top-level applicants with research interests in the broad area of energy storage devices and their integration into modern and future energy systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: (i) planning and operation of energy storage connected to large-scale electrical and energy systems (ii) modelling of energy storage technologies, (iii) methods for the integration of energy storage into energy systems with stochastic supply, (iv) energy storage for automotive applications and, more in general, for autonomous systems.
We seek candidates with an outstanding research record, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and who will be proactive members of the Electrical Engineering and Energy communities. Candidates with strong academic background, but with few years of experience in industry are also welcome.

As a faculty member of the School of Engineering, the successful candidate will be expected to initiate and develop an independent and creative research program, as well as to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Internationally competitive salaries, start-up resources, and benefits are offered.
