  • The Project Engineering Intern will have the opportunity to get hands on experience with a major capital installation including:
    • 1. Supervision of field installation of equipment ensuring compliance with design documents
    • 2. Updating drawings to reflect as-built installation
    • 3. Organization of equipment folders and coordination with the plant site maintenance group to ensure smooth flow of equipment information
    • 4. Assist project team with field commissioning of equipment as it is installed
    • 5. Assist project team with field commissioning and integration of control system
YOUR SKILLS
  • The successful candidate will be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Chemical Engineering and completed their Sophomore year of study.
  • Specific skills desired include:
    • 1. The ability to quickly assimilate and process new skills and information.
    • 2. Functional knowledge with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)
    • 3. Ability to set up basic mass and energy balances
    • 4. Ability to read P&ID diagrams
    • 5. Ability to collaborate in a team setting, good interpersonal skills.
