If so, this Associate Scientist role could be an exciting opportunity to explore! As an Associate Scientist, you will participate in the design and execution of scientific studies for vaccine technical programs as they progress from early development into Phase 1, 2, Phase 3, technology transfer and process performance qualification at the intended commercial site. YOU will work alongside and learn from other high performing scientists to drive the development of novel vaccines. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to progress YOUR career, the role's responsibilities include some of the following… Participates in the design and execution of specific development projects under limited direction, following the Quality by Design framework. Works closely under the direction of scientific staff to implement and interpret the data from development projects. May train and oversee staff on equipment operation, data analysis, and other project-related work. Utilizes scientific knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions. Functions effectively as a core team member on multiple concurrent projects and may leads small projects and established work processes. Helps to solve complex problems through collaborations with others, taking a new perspective on existing solutions. Prepares and presents scientific data in internal meeting within own Technical R&D area Participates in writing technical protocols and reports in support of various project development stages. Communicates effectively within TRD functional area and with other TRD functions Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: BS/MS degree in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bio/Chemistry, or related scientific field 0-3+ years of relevant industry experience in product development Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team/matrix laboratory environment. Demonstrated ability to independently lead, design, conduct, troubleshoot and interpret the results from experiments. Experience with nanoparticle formulation and associate characterization techniques Experience RNA and protein chemistry and associated characterization techniques Creative and motivated self-starter Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment.
