Assistant/Associate/Full Professor

The Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Oregon State University (https://biochem.oregonstate.edu) invites applicants for a full time, tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level to begin in Fall 2022 or later. We seek applicants with research and teaching interests that fit broadly within the areas of neuroscience, genetics, or cell biology. The preferred area of research will be thematic with departmental interests in molecular biology, biochemistry, and structural biology.

The primary mission of the OSU Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics is to provide a program of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral education in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics, and to conduct research and scholarly activities focused on areas important to human health and revealing how life works. The department offers BS degrees in Biochemistry & Biophysics and in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, MS and PhD degrees in Biochemistry & Biophysics, and has a rapidly growing student body of about 400 undergraduate majors.
