The position:

As an Investigations, Manager in the Anti-Counterfeiting and Brand Protection Team (ACT), you will investigate pharmaceutical crime and assist in bringing counterfeiters, fraudsters, diverters and illegal traders to justice. By doing so, you will assist in protecting patients and preserving Gilead's reputation.

Job duties include:

Investigate assigned cases into pharmaceutical crime, including product counterfeiting, falsification, diversion, fraud, customs seizures, theft, etc. Manage key external relationships with vendors, law enforcement, government agencies, and industry peers in the region.
  • Coordinate investigations with the ACT Global Investigations team, and with relevant business stakeholders
  • Coordinate investigative efforts with vendor investigators
  • Ensure that all case information is tracked in our case management system
  • Assist in providing internal education and awareness
  • Assist in preparing for Global ACT meeting, steering committee meeting, etc.
  • Participate on relevant ACT sub team representing investigation's team interests.
  • Collaborate with Industry, represent Gilead at relevant industry meetings, and provide and receive trainings.
  • Collaborate with industry colleagues regarding investigations, and strategic projects.
  • Respond to law enforcement request for information in the region
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key law enforcement personnel in the region
  • Provide training to customs and law enforcement when needed


Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • Relevant investigative experience in pharma brand protection/product security or 10+ law enforcement investigative experience
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer and its applications, including Windows and Windows based applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate professionally with co-workers, and external partners
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to analyze, problem solve, organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to development and maintain key relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information
