SUMMARY
Function
Performs data collection and outcome reporting on specific disease categories.
Scope
Impacts adherence to clinical research protocols and mandated reporting to accreditation and regulatory bodies.
Essential Job Functions
Statistical Functions
-Implement statistical procedures and programs for data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis
-Develop analytical pipelines for the analysis of large, complex datasets
-Make figures and tables, assist with preparation and distribution of results
-Prepare written summaries of statistical methods
Data Management Functions
-Create and maintain study databases in Access and REDCap
-Collect data and abstract clinical information from medical records
-Maintain data entry for laboratory and study databases
-Design queries to retrieve information from databases and generate reports
Study Coordination
-Conduct overall study coordination working closely with other study staff
-Maintain study-related paperwork
-Manage database for recruitment and progress reports
-Assist with processing of biological specimens as needed according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
-Assist with submitting, amending, and renewing institutional review board (IRB) protocols
Marginal Job Functions
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Nursing or related field. Three years of related experience. Additional years of education may be substituted for experience on a one to one basis.
