Position Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology is searching for full-time tenure-track research faculty members at any rank. We especially welcome applicants working on the frontiers of chemical biology who can envision and actualize a research program that develops novel approaches and/or applies cutting-edge technologies in new ways to solve problems related to the diagnosis, staging and/or treatment of cancer.

Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.  Competitive research space and start-up funding will be available, as will the potential for interactions with our affiliates, Argonne National Laboratory and the Marine Biological Laboratory.

Applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent.
