Tenure-Track Faculty Position (Assistant/Associate Professor)
The Yale Center for Genomic Health is looking to appoint an outstanding investigator in human genetics and genomics who will contribute to our core values of diversity, innovation and excellence of our Center. Scientists and clinician-scientists, particularly those from diverse backgrounds and/or whose research focuses on under-represented and under-represented in genetics and genomics are especially encouraged to apply. Applications from investigators working at the interface of human genetics, genomic medicine, population genomics, data science and machine learning will be considered favorably.
The successful applicant will be appointed in the department within the Yale School of Medicine that is most relevant to their research focus. It is expected that the successful applicants will actively contribute to our core values of diversity, innovation and excellence in human genetics and genomic medicine, and that their previous and proposed research focus and practices will reflect this.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree. The rank of appointment will be commensurate with experience and the position will come with a competitive start up package.
