SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Research Assistant I is to provide technical skills and coordination in carrying out various research projects. This position assists Principle Investigator (PI) with scientific research projects focused on Breast Imaging. Requires scientific and technical background, independent decision making, judgment and organizational skills.
Required :Bachelor's degree, major course work in one of the basic sciences.
Preferred:Medical Degree
Required Experience: No experience.

Required: At least two years' experience in Breast Imaging and scientific research work

- Essential Function:
- Collaborative Research Studies
- Collect and analyze relevant clinical and medical data from different healthcare medical records software.
- Produce medical illustrations, publication graphics, scientific posters, and slide presentations under direction of PI.
- Effectively collaborate across all intra and cross-functional teams.
- Work with physicians to address any discrepancies related to image findings.
- Presenting results during lab meetings and at appropriate scientific conferences.
- Clinical Imaging Support
- Assess and collect quantitative data including, viewing lesions and determining baseline and follow-up measurements, metastatic disease, tumor/lesion size and location using bi-dimensional cancer assessment criteria.
- Perform clinical quantitative imaging analysis including segmentation and volumetric extraction.
- Responsible for image processing including, image workflow, archiving, auto routing, and working with PI/collaborative team to design and interpret innovative research by applying image post-processing pipelines
- Advanced expertise in imaging with special emphasis on Breast-imaging in oncology including but not limited to Ultrasound, Mammogram and advanced MRI imaging such as CEST, DCE, Q map and diffusion imaging analysis.
