Position of postdoctoral researchers or scientists are available in Dr. Cai's laboratory in Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Diabetes Research Center, and Institute of Aging, at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.

Cai's laboratory has strong interest in studying fundamental questions in areas including: (1) brain mechanisms of aging, lifespan control and longevity using cells, mice, drosophila and human samples; (2) neural and endocrine mechanisms of obesity, diabetes, hypertension and neurodegenerative disease; (3) neuropeptides, stem cells and RNA biology; (4) inflammation and immunology; (5) DNA methylation, epigenetics, big data analysis, and computational science.

Candidates should have completed PhD training or equivalent, and demonstrate strong research interest, self-motivation spirit, independent research ability, good skills at technical performance, good communication skills, and enough teamwork attitude. In addition to existing projects, he/she will be provided with sufficient support and freedom to ask new important questions and to develop new innovative research in the general context of laboratory interest.
