The Department of Molecular & Integrative Physiology at the University of Michigan Medical School, part of Michigan Medicine, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level. We seek outstanding colleagues whose research addresses cutting-edge questions in any area of physiology to join an inclusive and very supportive department community that prioritizes transformative science along with training the next generation of scientific leaders. Successful candidates will be part of an interactive and interdisciplinary environment in one of the top physiology departments in the world, and will work side by side with researchers uncovering fundamental basic biology and mechanisms of human disease using a wide range of molecular, cellular, and organismal systems.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. and/or M.D., an outstanding record of research accomplishments, and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the biomedical sciences. Candidates are expected to develop an internationally-recognized program of scholarly research, to excel in teaching and mentoring, and to demonstrate commitment to service in the department and scientific community.
