The Gilead Business Services center in Raleigh's Research Triangle region will be home to some of the company's critical shared service teams in North America, including Information Technology, Global Financial Solutions, HR Operations and Procurement Services Desk. Job Description:

The Quality R&D Info Systems Manager will serve as a business analyst resource for multiple components of the electronic Quality Management System (Training, Document, and Quality Record management). They will coordinate with business areas to gather requirement additions and changes, including identifying and planning for any resulting impacts on other technologies and/or processes. Assesses, proactively, the trends in Gilead business functions and the impact on the IT architecture. Anticipates changes and needs to effectively plan for the future of the multiple technologies supported.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Supporting user acceptance testing.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, users, and technical teams.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Determine business value realization within initiatives and projects.
Basic Qualifications:

High School Degree and Eleven Year's Experience OR Associates Degree and Nine Years Experience OR Bachelor's Degree and Seven Years' Experience OR Masters' Degree and Five Years' Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related technology experience with technologies in the Pharma IT landscape
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Recommended system knowledge/experience of Veeva Vault, TrackWise, and ComplianceWire technologies
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Hands on experience in IT
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
