The Wistar Institute has an opening for an ambitious and productive Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Noam Auslander. The Auslander lab employs state-of-the art machine and deep learning techniques to complex biological data, to answer pressing research questions in biomedicine. The lab develops and applies machine and deep learning methods, in combination with bioinformatic approaches, to study the evolution of tumor metastases and identify new markers and therapeutic strategies to mitigate metastatic cancer.
 

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree or should be close to obtaining their doctoral degree. Applicants must have a strong background in one or more of the following disciplines: computer science, data science and machine learning or bioinformatics and computational biology.
