Why Patients Need You

Role is responsible for performing viable and non-viable monitoring in the aseptic environment, other graded areas, as well as plant utility sampling. Personnel must be able to pass and maintain aseptic qualifications. Good aseptic technique, (GDP) Good Documentation Practices and maintaining a safe working environment are expected.

What You Will Achieve

  • Perform viable and non-viable monitoring in all graded areas as well as plant utility systems.
  • Independent executor on actions and tasks with little to no oversight.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in a GMP compliant and safe manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in intense situations and stay focused on task.
  • Partnering with operations, aseptic services, and other site departments as required for operational support and schedule adherence purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


How You Will Achieve It

  • Manage own time, professional development and be accountable for own results.
  • Prioritize own workflow, allocate work to others and assist in establishing their priorities.
  • Providing input for performance assessment of team members.
  • Perform standard microbiological and bioassay tests for conformance to company and compendial specification.
  • Maintain records of all analysis information of assigned products on data sheets for permanent file and proper entry of information on laboratory forms.
  • Assist in preparing data for Quality Assurance audits and addressing and drafting responses depending on level and experience.
  • Perform Quality Assurance analytical testing in the chemistry laboratory.
  • Evaluate all data obtained from analysis, identify discrepancy or deviation, consult with Supervisor and recommend any additional testing.
  • Perform standard qualitative and quantitative analysis on purchased raw materials, in-process products, pure drug substances, finished pharmaceutical preparations, stability samples, and contract manufacturing samples utilizing accepted procedures.
  • Generate forms, labels, and other materials needed for formulation preparations as required.
  • Ensures instruments are calibrated within specifications and function properly in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide training support to staff and oversee the day-to-day operations in the Laboratory in order to ensure team objectives are met.


Qualifications

Must-Have

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Must become and maintain Aseptic Qualification
  • 1- 2 years' experience in any manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate (orally and written) in a clear and concise manner
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be able to perform basic math calculations such as adding and subtraction
  • Able to work in a team environment


Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations or data analysis.
  • Able to Ability to achieve and maintain Aseptic Gowning as well as perform work in an aseptic environment
  • Ability to stand and perform work in aseptic environment using aseptic techniques for prolonged periods of time


NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • 12 hour shift from 6 pm to 6 am on 3/2/2 schedule
  • Ability to be flexible to support operations and site activities as needed.
  • Plant operates 24/7
  • Shifts are broken up into four (4) separate 12-hour shifts to support production.
