Conducts research experiments and projects in scientific fields independently or with minimal oversight of faculty and/or research staff.

Records and evaluates data in accordance with methods requested. Literature search for research projects.

Experimental skills:

Tissue Culture

Preparing DNA, RNA, or protein samples

Cell proliferation assay

Soft agar assay

Western blot analysis

Maintain mice and treatment: Oral gavage, IP or IV injection

Maintenance of lab:

Ordering laboratory supplies and animals

Maintaining inventory of lab regents

Keep accurate records of experimental design and results

Perform accurate data analysis of experimental results

Other duties as assigned

Required: Bachelor's degree, major course work in one of the basic sciences.
