The postdoctoral positions in the lab are supported by NIH grants with goals of understanding the role exposome as a risk factors for late onset Alzheimer’s disease and the impact these exposures have on different neural cellular populations. These projects require integration of multiple techniques for in vitro assays, rodent behavioral analysis, brain surgery, and histological, molecular, and genetic analysis of pathological markers.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics or related fields, with a track record of productivity during their graduate studies.

The candidate should have experience using transgenic mouse models, preferably with behavioral testing, and histological analysis using confocal microscope. Furthermore, experience in molecular biology and biochemistry is a requirement.
