YOUR ROLE
  • Defines scope of Continuous Improvement (CI)/ Reliability projects and services. Responsible for building best practices into design phase through installation and implementation
  • Develops and improves Henkel Production System (HPS) training materials; facilitates internal HPS workshops
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, and budget of Machine rebuild projects
  • Leads CI specialists, and Technical Managers; works all manufacturing disciplines to develop and improve CI plans
  • Manages all cost savings projects development and tracking; leads cost control and reduction programs
  • Investigates and recommends techniques to maintain the teams competitive edge; develops and documents best practices
  • Gathers information to evaluate current work processes to determine the flow of work, time requirements, costs, and duration
  • Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and cost justification of new equipment as necessary
  • Teaches and coaches the philosophies and tactics of HPS and builds these capabilities in team members
  • Focus on value delivery e.g. cost reduction, productivity improvement, behaviors and practices
YOUR SKILLS
  • Bachelor Degree Engineering Related field with proven success in Improvement Activities.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in using continuous improvement tools and leading project teams and Kaizen events in an industrial setting
  • Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance Activities
  • Experience leading preventative and predictive maintenance teams
  • Six Sigma Certification, i.e. Black Belt, preferred
