Research Field and Overview         

We investigate how plants integrate developmental and environmental cues to optimize organ growth under the changing environment. We also study how plants establish and maintain cellular differentiation status and how severe stress overrides the developmental commitments to undergo cellular reprogramming. Based on these findings, we explore new molecular techniques to improve the production of crops and other useful plant resources.

Job description

The successful candidate will investigate the molecular mechanisms of organ regeneration in plants. The candidate will also establish molecular strategies to improve regeneration efficiencies in crops. In addition, the candidate will take a central role in assisting the PI to manage the lab and its research activities.
