Faculty Position in Translational Immunology
The Department of Microbiology and Immunology invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for investigators with research interests related to immunotherapy of cancer, autoimmunity, or infectious diseases. Some areas of interest include epigenetic modifications in response to immunotherapy, antigen-specific targeting for tolerance or immunity, immune responses within the tumor or inflammatory microenvironment, metabolic and microbiome influence on adaptive immunity, and the intersection of innate and adaptive immunity. Our medical center has rapidly growing clinical programs in adoptive immunotherapy with strong potential for collaboration. We are particularly interested in applicants that study the human immune response and have an established funded research program. Significant resources are available toward this recruitment. Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent, at least 3 years of postdoctoral training, and a willingness to contribute to the missions of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and the Miller School of Medicine. Quality research facilities, start-up funds, and salary support will be provided to the appointees. Interested applicants should send a curriculum vitae, statement describing research accomplishments and future research goals, relevant reprints, and the names of three references to: email@example.com.
