Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the UNMC Eppley Institute and Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. A highly qualified and motivated candidate is sought to work in a well-funded multidisciplinary research group to study novel aspects of signal transduction and metabolic alterations in pancreatic cancer cells, tumor-stromal crosstalk, and immunometabolism. Our state-of-the-art research program utilizes molecular biology and biochemistry techniques along with multi-omics approaches, including sc-RNA-seq, bulk RNAseq, epigenomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and genetically engineered mouse models and organoid models.
Ideal candidate will possess a PhD or MD/PhD in the field of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology or a related field with expertise in molecular biology, cell-based assays, and animal studies. Candidates with expertise in metabolomics/mass spectrometry are highly encouraged to apply.
