The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health (EOH), Graduate School Public Health (GSPH), has an open Appointment Stream Assistant/Associate Professor full-time faculty positions.

The department seeks and individual to teach and participate in course and program development for our soon to be created Bachelor of Science program and our current Master and Doctoral programs.  Education and teaching efforts include the areas of Environmental Health, Biological Sciences, Global Health, Climate and Health and Study Abroad programs.  Candidates may focus primarily on the educational mission of the department/school, or may have substantial interest in both teaching and research.  Research efforts include the areas of Environmental health sciences with special emphasis on pesticides and food contamination, Climate and health including the global impact on vulnerable populations in Lower- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC)s, Food safety and security and Environmental epidemiologic studies of metal and pesticide exposures during vulnerable life stages including during pregnancy and early childhood.

The preferred candidate should have earned a PhD and possess experience in environmental and occupational health, toxicology or other public health relate field, have an interest in pedagogy and educational program development, demonstrated teaching skills and a commitment to collaboration with existing faculty to develop educational programs to better serve the department.
