Wu Lab at MGH/HMS is seeking several highly motivated and independent postdoctoral fellows to explore protein lipidation, fatty acylation, metabolite-protein interaction and lipid biochemistry in stem cells and cancer. Projects will involve development of high throughput screens and discovery of novel small molecule probes, characterizing novel enzymes involved in protein lipidation, and chemical biology/molecular mechanistic studies of signaling cross-talking in vitro and in vivo. Selected recent publications include:
A qualified candidate should have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, detail oriented, and can work independently in a collaborative setting and have strong knowledge and experiences of stem cell or cancer biology, systems biology, molecular cloning, protein chemistry and/or animal models. The successful candidates should have a good publication record with a recent Ph.D. in cell/molecular biology, biochemistry and/or chemical biology.
Applicants should send their CV, a research summary and the name of 3 references to firstname.lastname@example.org
