The College of Science at Utah State University invites applications at the assistant professor rank to enhance justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) efforts in science and mathematics disciplines in our college. Utah State’s Logan campus is situated on the geologic shores of Pleistocene Lake Bonneville; lands within the original territory of the Northwestern Band of Shoshone. We are a land-grant university redirecting our path in serving and representing all communities so that we are poised to educate the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, and statisticians to meet the needs of Utah’s growing economy in science and technology. We seek faculty with demonstrated capacity to contribute to USU’s JEDI missions and goals while also contributing to excellence in research and education missions, as defined by their individual role statement. New faculty would join the College of Science’s JEDI Collaboratory- a thematic mentoring and collaboration network starting in August 2022.
