Tenure-Track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (bmb.psu.edu/) at Penn State invites applications for one or more tenure-track assistant, associate, or full professor appointments in the area of eukaryotic gene regulation. The successful applicants will join the highly collaborative Penn State Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation (www.cegr.psu.edu/labs/) and be part of the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences.

Competitive applicants will have a Ph.D., an outstanding record of research accomplishments, an innovative future research plan, an ability to achieve teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive community in the practice and teaching of science. The positions feature outstanding research space and competitive start-up packages.

    • overview of the goals/vision of your research program in the context of our department and institution
    • your most significant scientific accomplishments
    • a summary of experiences and qualifications that position you to achieve your goals

  • statement of teaching philosophy and interests (1 page)
