Job Details
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Conducts research experiments and projects. Conducts research experiments and projects in scientific fields independently or with minimal oversight of faculty and/or research staff.
Coordinate with PIs between Thoracic Head & Neck Medical Oncology and collaborating departments to streamline data flow
Will collaborate with physicians and labs in THNMO and collaborating departments, to gather multifaceted patient data for molecular data curation for lung cancer screening and prevention projects.
Chart review. Records and reviews patient info to assist data curation and quality check. The Research Assistant II will review the multiple databases medical record to identify populations of interest; streamline data curation; chart review patient clinical data from EHR platform; retrieve patient molecular data from GEMINI database; and work with radiologists/research nurses and data team to calculate cancer risk score.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences. Two years experience in scientific or experimental research work. No experience required with preferred degree.
