The Sukenik lab at the University of California, Merced is looking to hire multiple postdoctoral scholars interested in working at the interface of protein biophysics and cell biology. Projects will examine the interplay between the cellular environment and protein structure and function using cutting-edge technologies. The positions are funded by the NIH and NSF.
A successful candidate will conduct independent research in a supportive, collegiate, inclusive, and highly collaborative work environment. An integral part of the job involves mentoring a diverse cohort of graduate students and coordinating research with both national and international collaborators.
