Description

The Department of Chemistry (https://chem.washington.edu/) at the University of Washington invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level to start in September 2022. Outstanding candidates in all areas of chemistry and interdisciplinary fields involving chemistry will be considered. Candidates in areas of physical and analytical chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. University of Washington faculty members engage in innovative and inclusive teaching, cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, and impactful University and community service. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching and to develop outstanding, externally-funded research programs. Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in chemistry or a related field by the date of appointment.
