The Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of Michigan Medical School invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, Full Professor level. We seek outstanding colleagues whose research addresses cutting-edge questions in any area of biochemistry to join an inclusive and supportive community that prioritizes transformative science along with training the next generation of scientific leaders. Successful candidates will be part of an interactive and interdisciplinary environment with interests that span a wide range of molecular, cellular, and organismal systems.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. and/or M.D., an excellent record of research accomplishments, and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion in the biomedical sciences. Applicants for Associate and Full Professor should have a history of exceptional independent research, funding, and contributions to the scientific community.
