Postdoctoral Fellow

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:

The postdoctoral research fellow will work on our funded multi-projects. The postdoc will explore signaling pathways relevant to drug development and discovery of basic mechanisms of leukemogenesis and novel therapeutic targets and epigenetic and genetic prognostic biomarkers in hematologic malignancies. The postdoc will be responsible for design and perform in vitro and in vivo experiment, data collection and analysis, grant writing, publications, dissemination, and the overall day-to-day running of the project.

Applicants must possess a relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in Cancer Biology or Molecular Biology or a related field of study. The applicant should have experience of conducting research, publishing journal papers, presenting research at conferences, advanced quantitative data analyses. The successful applicant should also be able to work collaboratively, supervise the work of others and act as team leader as required. In vivo experience including working with mouse model, transplantation, injection (IP, IV, oral gavage, retro orbital) and flow cytometry analysis is a plus.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

• A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required.
