The Center for Computational and Integrative Biology at Massachusetts General Hospital invites outstanding scientists or physician-scientists for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.  The ultimate appointing department will be determined based on best fit.

The goal of the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology is to foster interdisciplinary and quantitative research to answer enduring biological questions and provide insights into human disease. Center members have access to world-class research facilities located within Massachusetts General Brigham Hospital, Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute, and to a large research data and sample biorepository of consented patients at the hospitals. We are particularly interested in candidates who are pursuing innovative approaches to fundamental problems in infectious disease and immunology. Successful candidates will be offered a competitive startup package to build an independent research program and will engage in teaching students and fellows in the laboratory and/or classroom.

Appointment as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Suitable candidates will hold a PhD, MD-PhD, or MD degree.

Interested candidates should send their cover letter, current curriculum vitae, and proposed research plan to facultysearch@ccib.mgh.harvard.edu.  Candidates are responsible for having three letters of recommendation sent directly by three referees.  Complete application packages will be accepted through November 1, 2021.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions or any other characteristic protected by law.
