Description
The Department of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Scientists in the Department work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment fostered by interactions among the nine basic science departments in the Institute for Basic Biomedical Sciences and with colleagues in clinical departments. Current faculty have expertise in areas including cryo EM, x-ray crystallography, NMR, computation, single molecule biophysics, and protein biochemistry. We seek outstanding scientists who are addressing fundamental biological problems at a mechanistic level and whose research either complements or expands existing strengths in the department. Diversity and inclusion are core values at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and in the Department of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry at all levels, including faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and staff. For more information about the department, please visit our web site at http://biophysics.med.jhmi.edu.
