Assistant Professor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Utah State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. This is a nine–month (academic year) position, located on the main Logan campus, and will start in August 2022. Applicants should have a PhD in chemistry or a closely related field with a graduate or post-doctoral background in experimental physical chemistry, chemical physics or a closely related field. Preference will be given to qualified candidates proposing research programs (with a significant physical chemistry or chemical physics component) in the following areas: photochemistry; materials or device development, including synthesis; and/or sustainable-energy research.
