Distribution Specialist

This warehouse-based Supply Chain position specializes in the management of materials and inventory. Reporting to the warehouse team lead, the successful candidate will be a motivated team player who is used to fast paced detail-oriented work. The Distribution Specialist will perform a variety of day to day roles such as receiving, stock picking/put away, chemical sampling and staging for manufacturing following the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) is necessary and using ERP Systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP is an asset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to perform warehouse related floor task that are physical in nature
  • Inspects, receives incoming materials using the Company's ERP system.
  • Performs shipment preparation
  • Maintains the integrity of the inventory location system by performing the appropriate transactions in the ERP system.
  • Completion of documentation specific to inventory control and sampling
  • Sampling and repackaging chemicals
  • Maintenance and cleaning of operational areas
  • Offloading of chemical bulk trucks and removal of waste materials from the site.


Preferred Experience:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with an ERP system for Inventory Tracking, Production Planning, and Forecasting
  • Experience with Forklift and other MHE


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience,
  • HS Diploma.
